Being a Fool

Being a Fool

Fool's Gold

Fool’s Gold

What is the topic? Learn to be a fool or just being a fool?

Somebody who is not doing what the crowd does, what society does, somebody who goes his special way, you call him a crazy fool. No one wants to be a fool. We resist being a fool. Who would like to be a fool? All effort in life, in society, in education, is put into trying to be wise, trying not be a fool. Isn’t it? That means just being one among the crowd, just flowing with the crowd. If somebody raises his hand, you also raise your hand, not knowing for what.

You have something which you call social laughter. People laugh whether they understand the joke or not. They simply laugh. If you don’t laugh, people will think you are a fool or you are dull. So you laugh. It is said the Englishman laughs twice. Once he laughs for the social custom. When a joke is told,he simply laughs. And the second time he laughs at night when he understands the joke. But a German laughs only once because he will never understand the joke. Somebody from Israel never laughs because he does not know what a joke is. 🙂

The day fools disappear from this world, all your entertainment Continue reading “Being a Fool” »

Dealing with Feelings….

Dealing with Feelings….
Awaken your inner spirit!

Awaken your inner spirit!

When we feel high. we have no problems. The problem comes when we feel low. No one wants to feel low. When one feels low, then the more one tries to feel high, the more the low feelings persist. This seems to be the biggest problem. What is important about the feelings? They never stay the same. Feelings are fluid. See, you feel good now, later you don’t feel good. Then again you feel good. This continues in life. If we base our life on our feelings, we will be ruined. You feel good about something now and a little later you feel bad about the same thing. Then those feelings change yet again. Have you noticed feelings changing?

Many people are unaware of the nature of feelings. Everywhere you will hear people say, “Follow your feeling, go by your feelings, do what you feel like,” etc. What will you do? Be independent? People misinterpret what independence means. They think it means following your feelings. They think, “I do as I feel now, I do as I feel tomorrow, I do as I feel the next day.” Then there can be no stability in life.

We are unhappy if we follow our feelings. When you feel low, jump into the lowest. Be like water. That is your real nature; inside you, it is like water. The coconut is the symbol of the whole human life. The coconut has a husk. That is the environment. And then the shell is the body. The mind and the inner intellect is the white membrane inside. The water is the innermost part. Your true nature is like water, fluid and Continue reading “Dealing with Feelings….” »

Chocolates, candy, candlelit dinner…Valentines Day can bring all of that…But its still possible to stay healthy as you can celebrate this frequently indulgent day.

“Pour some sugar on me…” goes a popular track. That’s great, but all the sweets and the much-awaited four course wine-and-dine rendezvous on Valentine’s Day can spell a diet disaster. You may be able to keep away from the office candy dish or skip the fast-food counters during lunch hour, but doing away with ubiquitous Valentine’s Day goodies is a tough call, and one, thankfully, you dont need to make. Bet thats only if you stick to an otherwise healthy diet and regular exercise. Here are some ways to make the most of Valentine’s day and not feel guilty about it.

Tighten your regimen if you’ve lasted a month and a half, dont let your healthy resolution go down the drain- but you can give yourself a cheat day. Instead of sticking to a soup-and -salad dinner on your romantic date and giving up that box of chocolates, plan your diet and exercise schedule in advance. You may have errands to run, presents to buy and, ofcourse, your outfit and look to plan for that special evening out. You need extra time, yes, but make sure its not at the cost of your regular Continue reading “Love it or Leave it!!!” »

Super Substitutes…

Super Substitutes…
Heart Healthy!

Heart Healthy!

Lets Face it: the phrase ‘healthy food’ dosen’t conjure up the most tempting images. But the fact is that eating healthy dosen’t mean you have to deprive yourself of tasty food; just a few simple replacements in your daily diet can make a significant imapct on your overall health and lower your daily calorie count. Fortunately, it isn’t too difficult to get used to these substitutes, especially since they can be quite delicious.

Packaged foods make quick  and easy eats and save so much time. We all start our day by pouring a glass of juice from a carton and a bowl of cereal from a box. The label might scream ‘healthy’, but often they have added preservatives for a longer shelf life. Instead squeeze some fresh juice, whip up some eggs and pick a few slices of whole wheat or multi-grain bread. It might take a few minutes longer than breakfast from a pack, but it is much healthier and will keep you full for longer.

Egg yolk is a source of cholestrol, so substitute egg whites for whole eggs. If you prefer to start your day with a bowl of cereal, opt for something without sugar, and definitely not chocolate-coated! Cut down more on those unwanted calories and fat by dropping the whole milk in favor of skimmed milk. You dont have to go without your cuppa in the morning, but go green (tea) instead of the regualar Continue reading “Super Substitutes…” »

There is no better way to track all hours in a day without owning one.Collecting time pieces has been an addiction for most men and women and will be carried on until the world ends. No second thoughts on it! Watches are a flashy example of wealth and people find ways to spend money on watches.

Time stays long enough for anyone who will use it – Leonardo Da Vinci

Time Out

Time Out

Watches are now considered a very big and safe investment and most often we all treat it as a piece of fine jewellery. They have become a must-have accessory in this modern era. People all over the world are seen sporting eye-catchy luxury time pieces.Branded watches like an Omega, a Hublot, a Rolex or a Chaumet are very popular for their own distinct syles and play a major role in defining an individual’s sense of style. More than women, men take pride investing in a classy time piece and flaunting it for any occasion.

Expensive watches always come with something extra but if you want a watch that is a keeper for good, make sure you invest in something that produces mechanical movements. Men can always team them with casual t-shirts or dressy tuxedos. Carrying off a Breitling, or flaunting a Longines or wearing an elegant chopard is not a child’s play. Playing around and mixing them with Continue reading “Timely Fashion!” »

Blogapalooza – Fashion Fever!

Blogapalooza – Fashion Fever!

marketing pic 4

Blogs and Blogging was initially exposed to me through my Professor while attending the Marketing with Social Media class. It piqued my interest immensly as he had the right attitude and mojo and made the class very interactive.

Learning about what to write and thinking about what category of people would search for was our first task. This gave me an opportunity to write my views about the creme de la creme of fashion and learning how to look and feel good. How the site looks and using powerful wording to keep the visitors interested is a very challenging task. Content should be inviting for the visitors and we have anywhere from 3-10 seconds to grab their attetion to our blogs. Marketing through blogging is not just writing about what you feel like but what can cause good Continue reading “Blogapalooza – Fashion Fever!” »
